It’s the middle of the week and the sluggishness has set in, what better way to combat this than with a Wednesday Wellness Day. Take a breather, put your feet up, give yourself a little pampering, and refresh your body from the inside without breaking the bank.
Last February I went on a liver cleanse and was told to eat a raw garlic clove and drink lemon water every day. The lemon water wasn’t a problem but I knew I couldn’t just pop a garlic clove into my mouth and be off. So I came up with this LemonLic Aid that is both nourishing and detoxifying. I liked it so much that now even while I am not cleansing I still make this drink at least once a week.
Into a blender put:
- 8 ounces filtered water
- Juice of one lemon
- 1 clove garlic
- ¼ teaspoon liquid cinnamon bark or ground cinnamon (liquid cinnamon bark mixes easier and can be purchased at any vitamin or supplement store)
- ½ teaspoon stevia (optional)
Whirl it together and drink.
